Job Title: Specialist Business Analyst (AI and Digital Technologies)
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
Salary: 105-115K DOE plus benefits

Overview
Hiring on behalf of a global life sciences manufacturer seeking a Senior IS Business Analyst to drive AI led digital transformation across complex manufacturing operations. This role sits within a high impact digital and technology function that supports operational excellence, scale, and advanced analytics across a major production site. The remit spans AI solution delivery, digital capability development, and strategic technology adoption in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Partner with site and global leaders to identify, prioritise, and deliver AI and digital solutions that enhance productivity, reduce cycle times, and improve user experience
• Lead workshops to define requirements, user stories, and business needs
• Analyse current processes and assess emerging digital technologies to identify optimal solution fit
• Manage a portfolio of AI and digital initiatives including planning, resource allocation, risk and financial management
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, development teams, and external vendors
• Drive Agile ways of working across development and deployment projects
• Own functional metrics ensuring alignment with site and business goals
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and digital operations
• Champion digital enablement and organisational upskilling into advanced technologies

Requirements
• Significant experience as a Business Analyst supporting digital, AI, automation, or advanced analytics initiatives
• Strong process mapping, requirements definition, and stakeholder engagement expertise
• Ability to operate in evolving, ambiguous, and highly regulated environments
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies including LEAN or Kaizen
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non technical stakeholders
• Strong communication, documentation, analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Ability to work both independently and in cross functional teams
• Flexibility to travel occasionally to partner sites

Preferred Experience
• Exposure to RPA, AI, machine learning, digital automation, or intelligent manufacturing
• Experience deploying innovative technologies into operational environments
• Comfortable influencing technology strategy and shaping digital roadmaps
• Experience using Agile delivery methodologies including Scrum
• Background in life sciences, biotech, pharma, or similar regulated sectors
